Join our beginning guitar class and get hooked on guitar! Students will need their own acoustic guitars - they'll be learning simple chords and songs in no time. Level 1 classes begin with an introductory section for 8 weeks. Students may then continue and register for an additional 8 weeks. This program grows into the a Level 2 and 3 classes meet for 16 weeks and explore more advanced chord fingerings and a broader repertoire of material. This class will introduce students to the history of Hip-Hop culture with basic moves for the novice dancer. The style encompasses the movements of break-dancing and body- popping with a concentration on footwork.Clothes for hip hop class should be loose and comfortable. You can wear any kind of shirt or tank top. Long sweatpants are the best option: it's better not to expose the knees, especially if you want to breakdance.
