Fitzpatrick Collaborative is proud to carry on the beloved tradition of the Community Bike Sale started by Friends of Pepperell Recreation! Since taking the reins in 2021, we’ve turned this fundraiser into a way to directly support the Big Back Yard and The Fitz Community Center for our shared community.

We couldn’t do it without YOU!

Thanks to generous donations of gently-used bikes, trikes, scooters, and ride-ons, our annual sale has averaged around 250 bikes and brought countless smiles to local families. The heart of this event is all about giving back. With this community wide event, we get to ensure families can find affordable, gently-used options for their kids, grandkids—or even themselves! Unsold bikes are donated to The Bike Connector in Lowell, MA, extending the life of these bikes and keeping them out of landfills. And for bikes beyond repair? They’re recycled through local scrap metal dealers.

The 2025 Community Bike Sale is coming this May! We usually time it to align with Pepperell’s Town-Wide Yard Sale, so it’s a great day to browse and shop. More info to come!

We have begun accepting bike donations for the 2025 Bike Sale!

Bikes will be sold as-is to fellow local families, so we’re looking for gently-used bikes that are rideable and complete with all their parts. We can handle small fixes like inflating tires, we can’t accept bikes with non-working brakes or bent wheels.

Please email us at Programs@TheFitz.org to arrange a time to drop off your bike(s), and someone from our programs team will be in touch within 2 business days.
