POSTPONED: Yin Yoga – All Levels

A complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. Some call it the “other half of yoga.” In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. Physically, Yin Yoga restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, primarily between the navel and the knees. Ukulele for older teens and adults - Don't let the kids have all the fun! Teens and adults can learn to play Uke too! Join us to learn how to play ukulele in a social group setting. In Level 1, we'll teach you the basics you need to know to get going on this popular instrument. You'll come away with having a few songs under your fingers and the ability to figure out more tunes on your own. Students should come to the first class with their own Ukulele. Note: Classes run April 3 - May 29, no class April 24.

Join our beginning guitar class and get hooked on guitar! Students will need their own acoustic guitars - they'll be learning simple chords and songs in no time. Level 1 classes begin with an introductory section for 8 weeks. Students may then continue and register for an additional 8 weeks. This program grows into the a Level 2 and 3 classes meet for 16 weeks and explore more advanced chord fingerings and a broader repertoire of material. Join us for an adult event at The STEAM Studio to kickoff STEAM@thefitz! Come and paint with us! Whether you are an artist and have your own project you are working on OR want to participate in the Social Art Challenge, this is the event for you.
